The thing about Roy is he can cover

WHEN he wants to.  And he has been doing well as of late, and believe me I am not the biggest Roy supporter.  I think his problem is his dedication to the game.

yelling in his face?

that can't be taunting.  if it was the fact that he was standing over the guy, then yeah, he was taunting, except for wide receivers and running backs, MLB's and CB's do that all the time.

by ab03 on Nov 11, 2007 4:48 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

That's what made it taunting

Standing over a guy laying on the ground, but the yelling in his face didn't help. It was just a dumb play by Burnett, dumb, dumb, dumb.

by APerfectStar on Nov 11, 2007 4:51 PM CST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Standing over a player

that is laying prone on the ground and sticking your helmet in his face not once, but twice, and yelling at him has been called taunting all year long. Seen it in a number of games.

my point is in big games, we continue to makes stupid mistakes with dumb penalties and poor ill advised throws that keep other teams hanging around in games like the Giants that we should be beating, a complete stupid play by Burnett just gives the Giants more confidence that they can compete and win games against the cowboys.

Statisticall Pretty Even First Half

Dallas has 135 net yards, Giants 126.

Turnovers are even at one apiece.

I was holding my breath during that Romo mini-meltdown with the fumble and int, but hopefully the drive at the end was a sign of things to come in the second half.

what the hell can you do in the nfl

some of the penalties called in this game again are absolutely horrible. the personal foul on the first giant drive was a joke & this taunting is ridiculous.  players do that all the time.  they call it emotion.  what are players supposed to do if they make a nice play or hit on someone.  just run back to the huddle like a good little boy.

nice Burnett tackle

he made a good tackle on shockey to force the 3-and-out there, made up a tiny bit for his boneheaded move

After another bone head 15 yard penalty by Davis

The defense got a stop.

Lets hope for a nice clock consuming touchdown drive to start the second half.

okay, here's where we start to roll them

Romo got a good rhythm going with that last drive, now let's see that third quarter magic!

some weird tv producing

they keep calling tv timeouts anticipating a player injury but the player is jogging off the field when they go to commercial

Since when

did they start putting little Captain 'C's on the uni's?

Or is that just the Giants doing that?

TO baby!

Romo's getting good protection. Our O-line is doing a good job against their much touted rush.

a touchdown

no penalties, nice long drive, taking time off the clock and converting 3 for 3 on third down. Thats what I like to see.

by Deke on Nov 11, 2007 5:16 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

ball control offense

some good running plays and great 3rd downs and all of a sudden our D is rested

by ab03 on Nov 11, 2007 5:17 PM CST reply reply actions actions   0 recs

indeed

very important. now if we can get them stopped again, put their defense back on the field, and start to wear them down, and we may see a replay of week 1
