Terry Glenn is back
Great news from practice today, Terry Glenn is back to looking like his old self , at least according to media on lookers and Tony Romo.
WR Terry Glenn looked like a real, actual participant in practice today for the first time, donning a jersey, shells and helmet and taking part in all the drills Cowboys Blog was allowed to watch. Until now, Glenn had been outfitted in sweats and been a partial participant.
For the short time we were there, through individuals, Glenn moved around without a hitch.
Tony Romo said Glenn is back to blazing when he runs in a straight line. The question is how quickly Glenn can get out of his cuts.
"His vertical stretch and stuff like that, he's going to be just fine," said Romo, who is tied with Tom Brady for the most 20-plus-yard completions in the league (54). "That's going to add something pretty big, I think."
This is awesome news, hopefully Glenn can torch the Redskins secondary the way T.O. did back in November. If TG is indeed back to 100% and looks good this Sunday, the Cowboys offense can be every bit as good as the Pats without question.

Thanks for sharing da great news, Terry!!!
I look forward to the explosive TNT tandem back on the field together during the playoffs (hopefully with both totally healthy).
Props to Wade on managing the TG injury -- as well as all of the other injury situations -- correctly throughout the regular season.
And in agreement with Terry, I hope the the vintage Glenn returns and burns the Skins this Sunday...

TG
That'd be pretty sweet, but I'll be happy with much less. I'd like to see him get his timing and confidence back to the point that he can be a factor two weeks later. I'll be pretty surprised to see him in the second half of the game this weekend.

This is great news, and I agree, Wade gets kudos
Props to Wade on managing the TG injury -- as well as all of the other injury situations -- correctly throughout the regular season.
Phillip's respect for the players, and his emphasis on allowing them to be leaders, has paid tremendous dividends this year.
As for RickT's comment, on hoping Glenn doesn't play too much, I disagree.
I think the criteria should be "how to be best prepared for the playoffs" ... this is VERY different than "let's avoid injuries" ... under the best prepared idea, guys nursing injuries would sit, but a guy like TG could use all the time he can get. It can only help him. Is there a risk of injury? Sure, this is the NFL. Only for perhaps Romo will the injury issue come into play, I would imagine he is pulled early. For the defense and everyone else that is healthy, I expect to see them play.

At this point
I think what we need to do is get him reps. The man's very rusty at this point.

Late Christmas Present
Shoot, even if he isn't 100%, even if he's at 75-80%, that's still a bonus.

The timing seems perfect
just enough time to get some game reps and then solid practice for two weeks. If they can get TO back on the field, this could be an unstoppable offense.
