by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 1:49 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

long drive. romo, don't make it harder than it needs to be (NO TURNOVERS)
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 1:50 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 1:53 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Let's see TO
Getting more than a cursory glance.
by Or Moyal on Dec 9, 2007 1:51 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Why give the ball to JJ when he can only
pick up 1-1/2 yds?
by Wharter on Dec 9, 2007 1:52 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
You gotta start somewhere
And they need to move out of their own goal
by Mullin on Dec 9, 2007 1:53 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Lions Are Dropping Like Flies
Fernando Bryant is shaken up.

Kindablue
Thanks a bunch for the radio link. It's allowing me to be less crazy.
by grapejoos on Dec 9, 2007 1:54 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Glad to Help
And Brad and Babe are fantastic announcers.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 1:55 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
The broadcast is slightly ahead of the telecast.

If you guys would just read the Gameday notes
on the first open thread, you'd have it. ;-)
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 1:55 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Thanks Dad!
Just kidding...thanks Grizz. I'll pay more attention next time I'm psychotically trying to find a game online.
by grapejoos on Dec 9, 2007 1:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
first penalty of the game
against Dallas. made it thru the whole first half without one.
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 1:56 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Ware - roughing the passer
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 1:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
TO first down!
nice
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 1:56 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
What? Marinelli Declined a Penalty
That would have given him a second and ten at the three, and accepted a makeable third down.
Terrible coaching. We got off the hook on that one.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 1:58 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
well, would have been half way to the goal?
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 1:58 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
oh man, Romo, bad play
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 1:59 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
oh, I guess they don't get added on top
of each other
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 1:59 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs

he's frustrated
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:02 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Oy, we are getting beat physically
I didn't think that could happen
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:00 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
damn. not good field position
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:00 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
julius jones
needs to get benched. drastically reduce his carries
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:01 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I can't see it
but based on numbers and past performance, MB3 needs to be in the game any time we're behind.
Come on Dallas. Defense needs to bail us out here (or just do something productive).
by grapejoos on Dec 9, 2007 2:02 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
that last drive of the first half
looked really good, they found their rhythm. this one? not so much..
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:01 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Kitna Has Been Sacked
48 times this season, most in the league. No sacks today. Has he even been touched?
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:03 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Hatcher once, Ware on the roughing play
That's about it, our pass rush stinks today
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:04 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Unfortunately
That didn't count. Officially zero sacks today.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:04 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I know, you asked if he'd been touched
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:05 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
hardly even pressure
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:05 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
They are going to get a least 3 here.
I am ready to declare this one a loss. We can't do anything well enough to get back in the game.
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 2:05 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
it's still close
and there's still plenty of time, and they can explode at any time.
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:07 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
ok, hold 'em to 3 again
please
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:06 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
our defense SUCKS!!!!!
we can't stop the run or the pass of a.500 ball club!
by TrueBlue24 on Dec 9, 2007 2:07 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Definitely a letdown game...
they happen, even in years we've won the SuperBowl.
Who cares, we're not going to run across this team again in the playoffs.
by Pete on Dec 9, 2007 2:09 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Gee, another reason...
for Kitna to shoot his mouth off after the game. :P
by Pete on Dec 9, 2007 2:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
I know what it feels like to be
Mount Vesuvius.
by Or Moyal on Dec 9, 2007 2:08 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We are in huge trouble
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:09 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Do we still clinch division...
if the Giants lose?
by Pete on Dec 9, 2007 2:10 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
i'd be worried about
home field advantage throughout the playoffs
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:10 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Well...
if we stay even with GB the rest of the way, we still have it.
by Pete on Dec 9, 2007 2:11 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
there needs to be a sack or a turnover soon
otherwise this game is over.
and that is assuming the cowboys actually drive the field
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:10 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Pretty Sad
That Bradie James spends all week getting indignant about Kitna's disrespectful comments, and then the Lions run right over him all day.
I was worried we were doing way too much talking this week. I was right.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:10 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
we're only down by 13, there's still time
by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 2:11 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Still Time
for the defense to give up 500 yards and 40 points.
Not much time for anything else.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:12 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
ARGH!
This is bad.
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 2:11 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
27-14......
I can't believe it!
the have run the ball down our throats all day....we're lucky that they had to settle for 2 FG's or it would be 41-14....Disgusting!
by TrueBlue24 on Dec 9, 2007 2:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
okay, now I'm worried
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Maybe Newman's infamous threat's backfired.
by Wharter on Dec 9, 2007 2:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
okay, good field position
quick TD and we're right back in it.
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
C'mon ROMO....we spotted them 2 TD's
lets get one back now!
by TrueBlue24 on Dec 9, 2007 2:13 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
he'll score, but he doesn't play defense
by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 2:14 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
this is disgusting
Where the heck are our two sack leaders??
by thelandryhat on Dec 9, 2007 2:15 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
The lions are really scared of austin
maybe we should use him to get a couple pass interference calls....LOL
by TrueBlue24 on Dec 9, 2007 2:15 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Longest Reception Today
Is 13 yards! Incredible.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:18 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
no injuries
that is at least one good thing. the lions are getting really beat up. this is like, what the 4th or 5th player to go out?
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:20 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We need a TD on this play!
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Way to Go JASON!
Good milestone for Witten!!
by Cal in DC on Dec 9, 2007 2:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
huge third down
especially since i don't think you can go for it here
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:21 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
One quarter left for redemption Dallas
Try to take advantage
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:22 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Okay If We Don't Convert
On third down, and the distance is still around three yards, do you go for it on fourth down?
I don't think we have any choice. You have to go for it.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:23 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Yes
we have to go for it, with one quarter left and our Defense unable to stop them.

Man is my feed on a delay or something??
You guys seem to be about 10 seconds ahead of me.
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 2:25 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
yeah
Feeds usually are a bit behind.

Gutsy call Wade
MB3 is the TD machine
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:25 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We are one defensive stop away
Now or never D
by gaz0425 on Dec 9, 2007 2:25 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Ellis' little conference
will do the trick! we did stop them 3 and out on the first drive, so it is possible!
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:26 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
It better.
Because this has been ridiculous.
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 2:27 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
after they gave up the last TD
he had the D unit together on the sidelines giving them some rather animated talk
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:29 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
i think it was the right call
just because the ball was so close. but gutsy play call giving it to MB3 4 times in a row. and redding almost had him too
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:27 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
NYG 16-10 on PHI
by Mullin on Dec 9, 2007 2:27 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
That's what a Championship team does
We KNOW we can score in the Redzone...don't back off...huge confidence for our O, and demoralizing for their D
by Cal in DC on Dec 9, 2007 2:27 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Great kick $hitty coverage
by Mullin on Dec 9, 2007 2:28 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
coud have been better
but definitely manageable
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:29 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Oh where, oh where has our Defense gone
oh where, oh where can it be?
With their quick pass rush and their fearsome run stop,
oh where, oh where can it beeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 2:29 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Again no pass rush
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:30 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Turnover here
would be quite helpful
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:30 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
tackles? hello?
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:31 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:31 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
so much for the defense
already in field goal range
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:31 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
2 weeks in a row no points in 3rd Qtr
looks like another december collapse
by cjr126 on Dec 9, 2007 2:31 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
No blitz
WTH??
by Mullin on Dec 9, 2007 2:31 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
our D must be worn out by now, too
man, he was wide open
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:32 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
This is torture to watch
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:32 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
wade phillips is a joke
wasn't wade brought in here to improve this defense?
by cjr126 on Dec 9, 2007 2:33 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
December isn't kind to us
and our defense just stinks when it can't generate pressure.
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 2:33 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
man, he had all day
but they held. Detroit still hasn't put this thing away.
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Thank You, MIke Martz
For throwing and stopping the clock for us.

Yeah, Hanson missed
by Dave Halprin on Dec 9, 2007 2:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
embarrassed once again by detroit
cowboys just were not prepared today.....again another knock on wade phillips.
this is why i can't see this team winning in post season.
wade just doesn't have the balls to kick this team in the ass.
by cjr126 on Dec 9, 2007 2:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
knock on wade phillips
you have found a lot to complain about in a 11-1 season?
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 2:37 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Dallas ball, less than 1 TD behind
this is still very much a game
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:35 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We need a ten minute drive now to win
because out Defense cannot stop the Lions.
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 2:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
We got a break there.
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 2:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

NICE!!!
I thought Witten caught that last one and it could have been challengd, but that was much better!

by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 2:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Is TO getting triple teamed?
Witten and Crayton are catching the ball every time It's going to them, but the unstoppable franchise wideout hasn't done anything of substance.
by Or Moyal on Dec 9, 2007 2:43 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
yes
in some cases at least. they are paranoid about him and the long ball, and they have taken it away, but it is leaving witten open in the middle, he just has to run out and turn around in the hole.
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 2:44 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
after we score defense better man up!
by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 2:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs

by Mullin on Dec 9, 2007 3:11 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
holy cow
I have to say, I really kind of wish they would win more easily, but these kinds of wins sure make for exciting football to watch!
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 3:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
First Buffalo, then this
This team is destined for it this year.
by Or Moyal on Dec 9, 2007 3:12 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
the kind of wins
that really build character. exposed weaknesses, but also showed the character of champions

2007 NFC East Champions
How sweet it is.
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 3:15 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
the comments after this game should be good
hopefully it is a lot of humble pie from the defense as if they lost but none of that snarky trash talk from the detroit guys.
by ab03 on Dec 9, 2007 3:18 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
all I know is that we didn't play well but
still won, thats a sign of a great team.
by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 3:20 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
assuming
the defense says anything at all. If I was one of those guys I wouldn't have anything to say after a game like this.
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 3:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
and if I was Detroit
I wouldn't say anything either because...well...I lost.
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 3:22 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Oh man.
I'm glad we won, but damn.
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 3:19 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
How could I ever have Doubted Romo & Co.?
by Wharter on Dec 9, 2007 3:19 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
yes, you should be ashamed
by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 3:21 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I never doubted Romo
but I certainly have serious doubts about our Defense.
by Philosopher on Dec 9, 2007 3:24 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
where's that jerk crj126 now?
by Terry on Dec 9, 2007 3:22 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
now, if the Steelers pull it out
we share the best record in the league
by scottmaui on Dec 9, 2007 3:22 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Dallas Wins the Division for the First Time
Since 1998. And as a bonus, the Eagles missed a tying field goal on the last play of the game. How sweet as that?
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 3:24 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
hooray!
by Nelson on Dec 9, 2007 3:26 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs

Thanks to Houston Texans for Beating
Tampa Bay. If Seattle loses today as well, we'll have clinched a first round bye.
by kindablue on Dec 9, 2007 3:32 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
And Greg Ellis
Moves into second place for sacks in the NFL. He has 11.5, and is tied with KC's Jared Allen. KC's game is in progress.

Just Remember
This shows once again we can come from behind in the last minutes of the game. Keep that in mind when we're trailing in the Super Bowl.
by Medude24 on Dec 9, 2007 3:36 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
What we could do if we had Terry Glenn back!
by Wharter on Dec 9, 2007 6:16 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
does he play defense too
thats where the problem is, and its glaring!!
by Deke on Dec 9, 2007 6:40 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
I agree with you on that one
our defense was horrible today, run and pass. we were actually lucky the defense held detroit to 2 FG in the early going or this game would have gotten out of hand EARLY!
by TrueBlue24 on Dec 9, 2007 7:39 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
our defense held them to 1 TD in 2nd half
Detroit has a good offense when they remain balanced like they did today
