Cowboys secondary under scrutiny

Nick Eatman is starting another series on the Cowboys roster, but this time in broad groups, like the secondary. I tell you what, no one sticks more good stuff into an article than Nick Eatman.

In case you missed this update on Romo’s golf game over at the DMN blog.

Romo shot a final-round 75 at Racine Country Club to finish seven shots behind Bendt Bendtsen III. Romo's father, Ramiro, who shot an opening round 71, two shots better than his son, finished tied for 18th.

The tournament play should help Romo at this weekend's American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe. This will be Romo's first time playing the famed tournament, but he's got the game to compete. Let's hope he doesn't look at Charles Barkley's awful swing.

Via Matt Mosley’s blog, comes this New York Post Page Six item on T.O. I think T.O. is slipping in his old age, he only managed to make the paper because he wore a black tux to a wedding that asked the guests to wear white. C'mon T.O., is that the best you got? Where are the days of doing sit ups in the driveway and hilarious press conferences by Drew Rosenhaus in your front lawn? You got to step up your game!

It's hard to argue

with people who say he's over-hyped when you see something like this.

My favorite

hidden gem in the secondary...

"I really, really like [Alan] Ball as a young guy. He's showed us some good things already."

It would be fantastic if one of this group of unknowns stepped and added some depth and became a future starter.

I'd be happy with a future nickel back

Glenn is an amazing athlete, but he's getting really long in the tooth.
