Big catch Crayton
Gramatica missed the 51-yarder
Good pass rush Ware
Still running that sweep
to JJ, getting him on the edge
Good run MB3
What a catch by Hurd in traffic
great romo throw
Owens on an end around
Garrett is giving to everybody
Owens reverse
Owens really pulled up on the reverse
MB3 TD
play calling, offense line
Good job to Garrett and the offensive line. If they keep on like this the Denver defense will go to their 2nd string soon.
Agree
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 7:36 PM CDT up reply actions
big kick gazoo
We're getting pressure on Cutler
Spears!
Denver Commentators
They are blaming the poor showing of Denver on the heat.
Denver has the worst homer announcers in the country.
Ehhh...
Most announcers are big time homers.
One of them on WOAI just called Aaron Glenn "one of the best in the game."
by no1cowboysfan on Aug 18, 2007 7:49 PM CDT up reply actions
Good job JJ
He gets his seven.
JJ and MB3 running hard
The line is blocking, we're recovering fumbles, scoring TD's, it's all good.
Standing around
On the replay, there were three defensive guys there, JJ looked good and the defensive guys had cement on their lets.
Good job Reeves
on kickoff covereage
Do ya think
This team came out to play?
This is two games in a row, in the PRESEASON, that the team is fired up to show their stuff.
Spears getting a little active
in this game
Calm down Terry
We knew you were waiting to rush in with that one. ;-)

Cowboys D stepping up big
Catch that Crayton!
punt returns
I do not know about you, but since we have so little experience back there I cringe everytime our returners go near the ball. Risk is not worth the reward.
You have to fair catch that
it's required
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 7:50 PM CDT up reply actions
He lost his helmet again
We need new chinstraps.
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 7:51 PM CDT up reply actions
T-New not suited up
sorry if it's already been said. Out with some heel problem. A. Glenn in his place. Haven't seen who the slot CB is.
Hard running MB3
L. Davis road grading
Oh Romo
not good
Receiver slipped
Receiver slipped and he could not recover.
Lame 3rd down call
Shanahan thought they would bring the house and he called a lame call. Good stand for the defense.
THIS
is the Roy Williams we all knew and loved
Held them to a FG
good job.
Tons of room over the middle
for Tony Curtis. He was wide-open.
Grizz:
I forget, and cant see...
What kind of defense do the Broncos run? It sounds like Garrett is taking advantage of the soft spots again under the safeties
by Brandon Worley on Aug 18, 2007 8:05 PM CDT up reply actions
Standard 4-3
don't know the details
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 8:06 PM CDT up reply actions
Tons of room for Crayton
no one near him. They are leaving huge holes in the middle
Austin
So far has made a few mistakes when givent he chance to make a play.
Not sure I agree with Larry Brown
But my stream is not the best, so I'll have to check on the replay tomorrow on NFL network.
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 8:10 PM CDT up reply actions
Creighton, another 29 yard gain
Dallas must see something on this play
MB3 TD
Nice cutback
Yup
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 8:10 PM CDT up reply actions
Reeves another coverage tackle
liking it
First D still in
Cowboys D again!
heat
Cutler looked terrible on the 3rd down play, he felt the heat from the back side.
Crayton, you're killing me tonight
Hurd fumbles!
punt returns
From my earlier post, the punt return game makes me cringe. Grizz I agree theoretically they should make the catch, however my gut is they do not have a good return person.
Spencer was chasing Cutler all over
on that play. Nice hold to a FG again.
Held to a FG again!
Offense needs to stop trying to keep Denver in this game.
by Cowboys Dominance on Aug 18, 2007 8:21 PM CDT reply actions
Good run MB3
DC Radio
Really enjoying Larry Brown next to Brad Sham. He has some really good insight into the game.
And he LOVES Romo.
LOL, nice
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 8:27 PM CDT up reply actions
mb3
Denver commentators are giving cudos to the quick feet of mb3 for 225 lbs.
Funniest thing tongiht ...
Sham calling Isaiah Stanback "haskell stanback." Then Brown asking "any relation?" Then Sham backtracking and going ... "Ah ... ah ... no, no, there's a lot of genetic differences."
(i.e. Haskell is white)
I was dying
When they were saying that. My gf thinks I am crazy.
by Brandon Worley on Aug 18, 2007 8:34 PM CDT up reply actions
Folk from 52 yards
Gooood!!!!
Still want Grammatica
Head games are key, Gramattica has shown he still has the leg.
Dunkman?
I'm just waiting for it ...
by no1cowboysfan on Aug 18, 2007 8:34 PM CDT up reply actions
where's dunkman?
What the Folk!
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 8:35 PM CDT up reply actions
I like JJ but
I'm starting to really be a Barber fan!
2nd half watch
Glymph
Stanback
Joey Thomas
Offensive Tackles
TT
QB's
we turned the ball over twice
and still scored 24 points, and missed a FG. That's pretty amazing.
Fasano
Out for the game with an injured shoulder.
R. Ayodele makes a pretty good play
Denver backups grabbing jerseys
Burnett is having a good series
Thompson speed +
Hurd block = nice run
Ha!
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 9:05 PM CDT up reply actions
Brad "BJ" Johnson ..
Has a 1.75 YPA right now. Gotta love his "deep threat" arm.
by no1cowboysfan on Aug 18, 2007 9:12 PM CDT up reply actions
Halfway through 3rd qtr
And the Cowboys have yet to punt.
That's crazy...
but we just did. Still, a nice stat.
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 9:10 PM CDT up reply actions
Jinxed myself.
by Brandon Worley on Aug 18, 2007 9:11 PM CDT up reply actions
Burnett is a madman
in this half.
Joey Thomas
again!
JT is also one of my surprises
If one of the cornerbacks go down I hope we have something in Thomas.
Stanback is in at WR
McBriar is the bomb
McB
... average opponent starting position on McBriar's punts is the 7 yard line. Gotta love that.
Nate Jones
beat for the big one! Yuck.
Nate Jones
Just lost his job to JT
Stats
Are really going to look skewed now.
Before that play, the Cowboys were dominating in every area, even with Brad "Im a gonna dump it" Johnson in at QB. Not, not so much.
Brady Quinn
Had a great game against a very depleted 3rd string Detroit defense.
Take it as you will.
Stanback catch!!
We have a sighting!
TT is gashing the Broncos
Stanback TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great catch by the kid
Wow, that's exciting.
by Dave Halprin on Aug 18, 2007 9:36 PM CDT up reply actions
Good throw and catch (Stanback and Johnson)
thank God, Johnson just got some confidence
YES YES YES
I think another 5th stringer (yes, you Miles) should be sweating about his job.
Good thing he is great on Special Teams.
One thing I'm worried about ...
The new "aggressive, sack-happy" defense has compiled 3 sacks in over 7 quarters.
Let's hope Wade's just saving some tricks for the regular season.
Remember
He has yet to fully unveil all his schemes, and the entire 1st string has only played about 3 quarters together....
On a side note, JT is have one helluva game.
by Brandon Worley on Aug 18, 2007 9:42 PM CDT up reply actions
JT breaks up pass...beautiful
Maybe Grammatica will be our kickoff specialist
and Folk our FG kicker. Hehe.
by Cowboys Dominance on Aug 18, 2007 9:40 PM CDT reply actions
Battle x-rays?
When did this happen? That doesn't sound good ...
... But good for TT, that's for sure.
Pass interference
deep on JT. not good.
Boo on late TD's for our opponents
Meh
It's garbage time in preseason. I'm not worried.
by no1cowboysfan on Aug 18, 2007 9:52 PM CDT up reply actions
Moore about threw a pick-six
on that last pass
Carpenter INT
JT hit the WR, Nice!
Brady Quinn
Yeah, he's pretty good.

That's it
Thanks for hanging out at BTB during the game. I'll have a review a little later. Good job Cowboys, lots of positives again this week.
Shanahan on post game comments
Was crying that the Cowboys was bringing exotic blitz packages, and that they were dinged up.
Classic Skins Loss!
They held the Steelers with a goal line stand and allowed them to kick a field goal with a minute left to go up 12-10.
Brunell marches them down the field to the 22, right in field goal range, then they have a delay of game, and an OFFENSIVE pass interference that puts them back around the 37...
To top it off, they dont' even get to try to win on a field goal because with 13 seconds left, Brunell throws an Oskie in the middle, which is intercepted.
If I can't watch the Cowboys, at least I can have fun watching the Skins get beat!!
