I am listening

via Internet Radio. Dang I would love to watch this game! I hate it that NFL Sunday Ticket doesn't include preseason games.

by Philosopher on Aug 25, 2007 6:56 PM CDT reply actions

Once again

Listening to the game on theticket.com

For some reason my girlfriend is kind of understanding about my need to spend Saturday Night on my computer listening to a Preseason game.

I had to promise we would make a social showing at Hooters after the game.

Oh Darn.

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small.

by Brandon Worley on Aug 25, 2007 6:57 PM CDT reply actions

where on the ticket?

I tried to find the game on the ticket, could not find it. Is there some link there to get to it?

Jacoby Jones = Stud

McBriar boomed that kick from DAL 20 to the HOU 10, and pinned it against the sideline, Reeves and Spencer missed the initial tackles on Jones.

Sounds like

The Cowboys came out of the Locker room ready to make some adjustments and try to atone for a sorry first half.

Im hoping that most of this is just one team ready for Sept 9 to come, and the other trying to hard to win the Governors Cup in a Preseason game.

specialty teams

as bad as this game seems, like they just said on the radio the only difference in the game is special teams.
we give up a 91yrd punt return & gramatica misses an extra point, otherwise this is a tie game.  also as far as the run defense goes outside of the 46yrd run by green they only have 61yds on 17 carries which is about 3.5 yds per carry.

texans team

this team actually looks like maybe it's starting to go
in the right direction.  they finally unload david carr that huge stiff & they pick up ahman green & i also like their tight end owen daniels.  they've also done a real good job with drafting on defense the past 2 or 3 years with dunta robinson, demeco ryans, mario williams & a. okoye.

rb

it's nights like tonight that reinforce the idea of taking a rb with that 1st pick from cleveland (darren mcfadden).  i was hoping we wouldn't need it & could use the high pick on a great corner, but you can almost guarantee the 1st 2 picks next year will be a rb & a corner or atleast it should be.  it will be interesting to see what the cowboys do with barber & jones because both can leave via free agency & barber's agent is drew rosenhaus.  can't see the cowboys paying alot of money to either one of these guys.

I COULDN'T CATCH THE GAME (FLORIDA)

I wasn't able to catch the game but tried to keep track on NFL.Com.  It didn't seem like the defense played like they have been the last few games, and while I don't think Tony Romo looked too bad statistically, I have to wonder if he didn't struggle because of the lack of a running game.  Can anyone fill me in, and let me know what happened?
