And there were pictures of TO, Spears, Canty, Spencer and other various Cowboys on the carton!  That was weird.. . .

to Witten for all I care.  I would rather see sustained drives with this defense.  The only problem with that is  that TO will start to whine and be "distracting".

defense did not look any different. t.o. wasnt involved at all.

We have to be the worst blitzing team ever...our blitz never gets there. I'm amazed that we can't blitz and get to the QB

We are not playing well as a whole, but still dominating.  Now we'll see if any adjustments were made for the D at halftime.

I loved the balance on that drive with Red Ball calling more effective run plays to set up the pass.

To me that series was lost on the first down call.

to be lackadaisical. defense is going back to the Swiss Cheese style of pass coverage.

When Newman Comes back he shuts down that side and you also dont need safety help up top that will change the defense for the better. First game is always tough The D will come around

I agree that he should come out in passing situations.  I've seen it too often the last 3 years.  Hes a good guy and great against the run.  Use his strengths then hide his weaknesses - get him off the field!!!!!

The defense was terrible... If we can score 45 points in every game, we might have a chance -- but if the D doesn't tighten up, we're going to lose a lot more often than we'll win.

now the question is.... do we sit Henry out and start Reeves opposite Newman.  It would be a good opponent to get some game time with.

I do believe that we will be better based on having those guys back.  Spencer got better as the night went on too.
