Romo will pwn NYG... proof inside
Hello, all. Let me preface this by saying, I am a huge Cowboys fan. I was with the team at 1-15, even though I was incensed at the Herschel trade (hey, I was a kid, I didn't know better). I have reveled in all the great moments of this season, and I'm hopeful that our success will continue through the Super Bowl and into next season.
Now, as an editor of comedy videos by trade, I felt that this subject of Romo and Jessica was too ripe for parody not to be exploited by someone with genuine love for the team. So, take this video not as a mean-spirited condemnation of young and reckless love, but as a light-hearted spoof of the grotesque proportions to which the media has expanded this (non) story.
I'm as superstitious as any fan; I haven't gone back to the sports bar where I watched the Patriots game, even though I can drink there for free. Sometimes I debate even watching games if I think not watching will help the team win. (My girlfriend got plane tickets that coincided with the Monday Night game in Buffalo. From now on she gets a season schedule for her birthday.)
But the fact is, and this JS situation really highlights it, that the only thing that matters is the players on the field doing whatever it takes to win.
I have no doubt that Romo, TO, Witten, DeMarcus, Ellis, T-New and everyone who dons the silver and blue know what is at stake, and want to win even more than we want them too. So I made this video to kind of get over myself and those silly superstitions.
The fact is, we won more games than 28 other teams this year. Who would have thought that possible 4 months ago?
We have to be able to laugh at ourselves, and I hope you guys get a kick out of it too. Share it with Cowboys fans, Giants fans, football fans, and remember - what we do and say doesn't mean anything. What the team does on the field this Sunday means everything.
How 'bout them Cowboys?

Fun watch
And you're right. The only thing that counts is how they play come Sunday. Let's ROCK!

Very Nice
That was well played my friend. Feel free to continue in the future if you cut some new ones. And if you always think of a reason to include hot women, all the better.

Grid Iron...
More than the video, what cracked me up was what you said about superstition and watching the game...I'm the same way, I still won't wear the Cowboys tshirt I wore when the 'skins came back with two touchdowns to S. Moss to steal that game from us...my family and I all switch game-watching positions every time we make a couple bad plays.
Hilarious. Whatever works, right?

too funny.
Just goes to show how invested we get in these games, rationally or otherwise.

Absolutely
I have little psycho things like this too. I'm currently agonizing over whether to wear my Ware jersey because I only wore it during one game this season (vs. Vikings), and I can't cost the team this playoff game. Sports make you crazy. What an amazing source of free entertainment.

During the detroit game
My wife got in my seat to use the laptop.I wear the same white aikman jersey and my coaches hat.Well we were losing to the lions, finally I yelled at my wife "I gotta, get over there!"
Well i got on the laptop, logged into BTB and Romo promptly drove us down the field for the win!
I take full responsibility for this win!
HaHaHa!
We're 12-1 when I watch the game at home and I sit in MY seat and log on to the open thread.
Needless to say,I'll be right here Sunday afternoon!
Go Cowboys!
