Around SBN: Notre Dame's Turnaround: How Have The Irish Done It?

Maybe not..

It seems there may be a little feelings happening at Valley Ranch.

Star-divide

Apparently Brian Stewart would not feel comfortable with Dom Capers on the staff. He seems to be feeling a little intimidated by the guy who gave him his first break. I cant say that I have seen enough from him this past year to be worried about how he feels.
If Capers can get this defense to be more consistent then sorry Brian, don't let the door hit your in the a$$ on the way out.

Class move by Capers, but the King's gotta do...

... what's best for the team.  Although our D did better than the previous year, I still expected more, and I'm sure King Jerry did, too.

Ergo, bring on the Dom and let Stewart resign.  Capers can transform our Defense into a dominant unit!!!

Agree

Capers or Stewart...hmmm? That's a tough decision.

I wonder if Jerry remembers Stewart forcing Hatcher to perform wind sprints during training camp without letting him stretch first, resulting in a pulled hamstring.

Don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya, Coach Stewart.

totally agree...thinkin' Wade is all for it

From what I read....Wade seems to be all for it...You win games with quality players...But you win championships with great coaches that can get the best out of their players...Capers is one of the best defensive minds in the game...and Wade knows that. Give the title of Assistant Head Coach-Defense.

I totally respect the fact Capers called Stewart to get his view on things...BUT, If were going to throw all sorts of money on an OF Coord, We might as well reap the rewards of one of the top Defensive Coord in the game that is available for us.

Keep Stewart to coach LB's, and signal plays in from the sidelines...while Capers is up in the booth strategizing...If he's uncomfortable with this....get rid of da bum.
