According to the Dallas Morning News CB Pete Hunter will likely be traded to the New York Jets today. Hunter was a trade target for the Jets in the spring, just after Dallas acquired Aaron Glenn. The wires and local papers are quiet right now, but I'll keep an eye on the story.
Update: The team's website reports that Dallas will get a late-round, conditional pick for Hunter in either 2006 or 2007.
Second update: The DMN now reports that Dallas will receive a 6th round pick in '06 that could improve to a fifth in '07 should Hunter meet certain performance benchmarks.
