Saturday Update

New, comments

The Cowboys initial forays into the market appear to be for depth. The DMN names Lions OL Kyle Kosier and Seahawks TE Ryan Hannam as targets. Kosier, who can play multiple positions, appears to be a replacement for C/OG Andre Gurode. Hannam, if signed, would replace Dan Campbell.

Update III: The Browns have outgunned the Eagles, signing C LeCharles Bentley to a long term deal. Cleveland also signed highly rated OT Kevin Shaffer, formerly with Atlanta.

Update II: This is getting crazy. A rumor from Cleveland now has Bentley signing with the Browns. No confirmation, but I'm looking.

-- Update: Not so fast on LeCharles Bentley. WIP Radio in Philadelphia is reporting that Bentley is on his way to Cleveland to interview with the Browns. Bentley may favor the Eagles, as many sources have reported, but he's apparently giving at least two teams the chance to make their pitches.

The Chicago Tribune names the Cowboys as one of several teams interested in WR Antwaan Randle El. The paper names the Bears and Redskins as early front runners for his signature.

-- LB Chad Greenway appears to be falling. Scout.com lists him at 18th in its current mock draft.
