Bills pursuing Payton

From ESPN:

The Buffalo Bills received permission late Friday to interview Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Sean Payton, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Saturday.

Bills defensive coordinator Jerry Gray and Detroit Lions interim coach Dick Jauron are in the mix but the favorite is Jim Haslett, the former New Orleans Saints coach and one-time Bills linebacker.

So Payton might be in the running for two jobs, we know the Saints are still interested.

Meanwhile, Mike Zimmer's chances in St. Louis seem to be dimming.

Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Scott Linehan has emerged as the favorite to land the head coaching job for the St. Louis Rams, league and team sources have told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
