ESPN News is reporting that the 49'ers have hired Norv Turner as their offensive coordinator. Fox Sports confirms here. Turner replaces Mike McCarthy, who took the Packers job. Any thoughts of Norv returning to the Cowboys if Sean Payton leaves are officially over. Sources inside Valley Ranch report that Todd Haley would be promoted from within to assume Payton's duties if he did move on.
