Cowboys make a few minor moves

Nick Eatman setting us straight on some roster and practice squad moves.

As expected, the Cowboys will bring back veteran safety Marcus Coleman, who was suspended by the league for four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

After cutting kicker Shaun Suisham from the active roster last Friday and bringing him back to the practice squad on Saturday, the Cowboys have now released Suisham again from the practice squad.

The Cowboys added wide receiver Jamaica Rector, who cleared waivers after being released from the 53-man roster last Friday, and guard/center Matt Tarullo, who spent the last two training camps with the club and was on the Cowboys' practice squad all last season.

The Cowboys also signed tight end Jason Randall, who played in NFL Europe this past summer with Berlin (17 catches, 203 yards, 2 TDs) after spending all of last season on Detroit's practice squad. Randall went to training camp with the Falcons this past summer but was released before the start of the season.

The current practice squad now consists of Rector, Tarullo, Randall, cornerback Quincy Butler, quarterback Matt Baker, defensive end Stephen Bowen, wide receiver Damarius Bilbo, linebacker Carl-Johan Bjork and tight end Andy Thorn.
