ESPN is reporting Romo will start against Carolina

ESPN is reporting that Tony Romo will start Sunday against the Carolina Panthers in another nationally televised game.

Tony Romo reportedly will get another shot to prove he deserves to be the Cowboys' starting quarterback.

A source told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Romo will practice with the first-team offense Wednesday and start Sunday night against the Panthers.

I for one am totally excited about this decision. Romo's performance in Monday's night game certainly wasn't indicative of how he's going to perform as a starter. I'm confident that with a full week of preparation as the starter practicing with the first team offense, with an offensive gameplan that will emphasize his strengths, Romo will lead us to victory or at least play well enough to give the team a chance to win. The Romo era has begun and I'm really looking forward to it.
