Cowboys make a roster move

The Cowboys make a roster move.

The Cowboys claimed guard Joe Berger off waivers from Miami and cut tight end Tony Curtis to make room on the active roster.

Berger, 6-5, 305 pounds, was a sixth-round pick of Carolina in 2005 and played in three games with the Dolphins last season but had not played in any games this season.

Berger is the second guard the Cowboys have picked up in the last two weeks, having signed Travis Leffew off Green Bay's practice squad.

I like the look of the standings in the NFC, but notice anything strange? Yup, the Cowboys are the only one of the top 6 teams with a losing record in their own division.

Team Overall Division
Chicago 9-1 3-0
Dallas 7-4 1-3
New Orleans 6-4 3-1
NY Giants 6-4 3-0
Seattle 6-4 3-1
Carolina 6-4 3-1
