Skyler Green returns, again

New, comments

Skyler Green returns, this cat has more lives than a...cat. Damarius Bilbo, my homeboy from Georgia Tech, also returns.

After getting released last Thursday to make room for veteran safety Tony Parrish, the Cowboys re-signed rookie Skyler Green to the active roster again on Monday. To make room, they cut guard Travis Leffew, who was signed to the roster on Nov. 21. The Cowboys also made another practice squad move on Monday, re-signing wide receiver Damarius Bilbo, who had been on the squad late in the preseason and then for about a month in the regular season. The Cowboys waived tight end Jason Randall from the practice squad.

Hat tip to Burt D for posting the news

The Falcons have a problem at the running back position.

The Atlanta Falcons may be without their two top tailbacks next week as they continue to pursue a wild-card playoff spot.

Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood were lost with calf and knee injuries respectively in Sunday's 17-6 win at Tampa Bay. Coach Jim Mora provided no updates on either player's status on Monday after saying Sunday the two would be listed as questionable.

The Falcons survived against Tampa Bay by moving fullback Justin Griffith to running back. Griffith ran for 57 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown.
