The Pittsburgh Steelers are Super Bowl champions for the 5th time, tying the record with the Cowboys and the 49ers. Seattle was controlling the game early but couldn't put points on the board. The teams ended a boring first half with the Steelers ahead 7-3.
Pittsburgh struck quickly in the 2nd half when Willie Parker busted a 75-yard TD run. Seattle got it to 14-10 after a long interception return and a Jeramy Stevens TD. Pittsburgh closed it out on a gadget play, a Randle-El TD pass to Hines Ward.
