Feeling confused, disoriented, maybe a little off-kilter, or just down right unbalanced? Take a frickin' number, bub. Going into the weekend I thought I had all figured out. Now I don't have a clue about the Cowboys' plan.
Here's what's bugging me. If we knew we were going to release Keyshawn, why did we wait until all the good WR free agents were off the board? I mean if KJ was going bye-bye, I'd feel a whole lot better if we had signed David Givens or Antwaan Randle El. Yeah, they got ridiculous money, but right now, we have a huge gaping hole at WR that we didn't have yesterday! I'm just saying.
And we still haven't made a move on what were the two most crucial problems we had before the WR crisis; RT and K. What the heck is going on? I have no faith that we will re-sign Keyshawn, someone will give him decent money that the Cowboys won't match. Besides, they can't be depending on that, they must've had a plan beforehand.
Which leads me to the inevitable. Two days ago I was so firmly anti-T.O., I made George Teague look like the president of the T.O. fan club. This morning? I'm actually rationalizing the thought process that Parcells can control Owens, it might work out if he did come to Dallas.
Stop the madness! Please, trade for Javon Walker, or Eric Moulds; then draft Santonio Holmes or Chad Jackson in the first round. All I'm asking is to save me from having to wrap my head around the concept of rooting for Terrell Owens over the next few years.
For that is the definition of insanity.
Clark Judge lays out the case against T.O. and warns Dallas no to take the bait.
Randy Galloway doesn't like T.O. either.
