When the WR position gets settled we still have at least one piece of unfinished business. Sign a kicker; whatever else happens, or even if nothing else happens in free agency, sign a kicker and I'll be a happy camper.
Adam V., Mike V., J. Brown; heck, I'll even take Todd Peterson if we want to go cheap. Where's Morton Andersen these days, I'm sure he can hit
35-yarders consistently. I kid, but seriously, if Suisham starts the season, I think T.O. will be the number one candidate to take over Larry Allen's role as "mostly likely to murder the kicker during a game" on the Cowboys roster.
Speaking of getting a kicker, KFFL.com has this little item up on it site.

Michael Felger, of the Boston Herald, reports free agent PK Adam Vinatieri (Patriots) left Green Bay Friday night, March 17, without a contract offer from the Green Bay Packers following a two-day visit. The prevailing wisdom was that the Packers were serious about offering Vinatieri a mega-deal; otherwise the visit would not have taken place. Vinatieri is likely looking for the largest deal ever given to a kicker, which would mean an annual salary well over $2 million per season and a signing bonus north of $3 million.
Nice, Vinatieri is still in play.
Also from KFFL, here are the contract numbers on new TE Ryan Hannam.
