I just saw this on the DMN website:
Only 'Oprah' for Owens
Terrell Owens was the first target in SMU officials' 11th-hour scramble to replace Pat Summitt. Word is that Owens was considering the offer, which was pitched as a terrific way to do some locally based image repair. But an issue soon scuttled the plan.
Turns out Owens has signed up to make an appearance on Oprah soon. And the Oprah empire has a sort of "no-compete" clause that prohibits other interviews within an undisclosed period surrounding the guest's appearance on the show.
Holy crap! Now that's must see TV. What are the odds Oprah makes him cry?
