Update [2006-4-29 15:16:41 by Grizz]: - Bobby Carpenter is the newest Dallas Cowboy and I couldn't be happier. Just what we needed to fill out our defense. Carpenter told the Ticket he can play outside or inside, said his Dad told him Parcells is a brutally honest guy, but will get the best out him. Said he might have to cut his hair off because Dallas is so hot.
Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys, Bobby Carpenter.

Oh man, it's finally here! In just a few short hours we'll know the answer; is it a linebacker, a safety, do we trade down, do we trade up? This is what we've been waiting for, Christmas morning in the NFL.
Join BTB as we cover the NFL draft from a Dallas Cowboys perspective.
Consider this an open thread to discuss the draft. I hope all you guys will post thoughts on the draft here today as the excitement builds in New York.
One note, Scott Shanle finally signed his one-year tender. Dallas has now taken care of all its restricted and exclusive rights free agents.
I can't wait to hear those words: "With the X pick in the 2006 draft, the Dallas Cowboys select...."
How are you guys feeling this fine draft morning?
