Nick Eatman over at the Cowboys website talks about T.O.'s first practice and the chemistry he is trying to develop fitting in with his new team.
"I don't think they're going to do any of that," Owens said on Saturday. "I haven't seen it. But I'm just going work hard and pick up the system and go from there. I'm not too worried about it."
And that seemed to be a theme Saturday concerning Owens. The wide receiver isn't worried about a new offense or how he will mesh with his new teammates, head coach or quarterback.
And those two - Parcells and Bledsoe - didn't seem concerned about their relationship with Owens, who had some noted clashes with former teammates, including quarterbacks Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb.
Even Parcells tried to squash that notion in an effort to move forward.
"I don't know anything about that," Parcells said. "Whatever happened, let's just go where we are here and see what happens. I don't know if he will be compatible, un-compatible. I don't know what will happen. Anything I would say now would just be conjecture.
"Maybe those guys are the guys with the problems. Who knows. I don't know that. I don't know what the situation was. Whatever happened, happened. This is a here-and-now thing."
IMO, I really don't think there will be any problem whatsoever with T.O. fitting with the Cowboys. Like I've said a million times on this blog, the coaches and QB's in San Fran and Philly are like night and day compared to Parcells and Bledsoe. Bottom line, there won't be an implosion this year or as long as Bledsoe and Parcells are around.
For all of those who have the NFL Network, it's Dallas Cowboy day again with programming from 12:30 pm through 10:00 pm EST.
