Bledsoe flying under the radar

I'm sure nobody would argue that the biggest story coming out of Cowboys camp this preseason has been the status of T.O.'s hammy and him not practicing as a result. However, the second biggest story has been the play of Tony Romo. There has even been talk of a QB controversy among the media pundits. As a result of everyone talking about Romo, nobody is discussing Bledsoe and that is just fine with him. Like the true professional he is, Bledsoe is happy Romo is getting playing time.

"I know what's going on and I know that he wants to see Tony," Bledsoe said. "(Parcells) has told me that. I have an understanding of what we're trying to do here. And I'm for it. I like Tony, and I want him to do well. He needs the work. And he did a very good job the other night."

As much I like Romo, as a Cowboy fan I know Bledsoe needs to be the man if we're going to fulfill any Super Bowl expectations this season. I'm sure once the season starts, you won't hear anything more about a QB controversy in Big D.

In other qb news, it looks like Drew Henson's time in Dallas just might be running out.
Check out this quote from Jerry Jones from a JJT interview.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Henson's development has been slower than he anticipated.

"It's accurate to say I had higher expectations," Jones said, "but it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't wake up in the future and find him starting for another NFL team.

"You would've expected him to be farther along, and I would've thought he would've been farther along, at this time. I don't know how much Bledsoe and Romo have had to do with that. I don't know if it's because of what they are or he isn't."
