Quarterback Tony Romo agreed to a revised two-year deal with the Cowboys on Thursday.
Romo received a $2 million signing bonus. He'll receive $900,000 this season and $1 million next season. Romo can make another $1 million in incentives.
They split the difference. The Cowboys wanted 3 years and Romo wanted 1 year. Pretty good deal for both sides, Romo gets some coin and the Cowboys got him for 2 more years.
You've got to hand it to the front office, they've been locking up players with extensions and at reasonable prices. Plus, the trades already completed and the expected ones coming in the next few days should leave the Cowboys in good shape for next year's draft.
