Are you guys finally ready for some football?

New, comments

I know I am as these bye weeks really stink. The only thing I got to look forward to last week was rooting for my fantasy players, which by the way really stunk.  I don't know about the rest of you, but all this T.O. news is really getting old. Like Grizz said earlier, thank God we have a game this week to talk about.

This week the Cowboys need to come out and make a serious statement by crushing the Titans. The Cowboys of the early '90's used to absolutely dominate these types of games and flex their muscles to the rest of the league. Now I realize that the 2006 Cowboys are no where near as good as those teams, but if they expect to become the best team in the NFC and maybe the NFL, these are the games they have to dominate, from start to finish leaving no doubt that they are the more superior team.

As a matter of fact, if the Titans actually score in this game, I'll be disappointed. Their offense is among the worst in the league and there is no reason, except for a turnover on our side of the field, that they should even come close to scoring even a field goal. Actually, I'm expecting the Cowboys to force a lot of turnovers and maybe even score on defense for a change.

From what I've seen, the only part of the Titan's team that is decent is their pass rush. Vanden Bosch is a good pass rusher and Bullocks can provide pressure from the linebacker spot. This will be another good test for our O line to provide Bledsoe with a clean pocket to pick apart the Titan's secondary. Hopefully, they can also open up some good lanes for JJ and MB3.

The bottom line is that we should definitely see Romo throw his first NFL regular season pass by the 4th quarter as all the starters should be watching from the sideline by that time. It's been a while since the Cowboys have completely dominated a game from start to finish, and I'll be really looking forward to it, and maybe even my fantasy teams will come to play too.
