You guys have to take mercy on me this weekend. Georgia Tech doesn’t play on Saturday and the Dallas Cowboys don’t play on Sunday. I might even have to go do something else besides watch football. Nah, that’ll never happen.
Anyway, here’s some stuff to read.
Calvin Watkins tells us what we already know, there’ll be no change in the RB rotation.
Jason Witten went home for the weekend and watched a game at his old high school before he becomes a Vol Legend on Saturday.
Former Cyclone star and current Dallas Cowboys' tight end Jason Witten was enjoying part of his bye week in the 2007 season by watching the Rebels and the Cyclones. Saturday night, Witten will be honored prior to the Tennessee - South Carolina as one of two Vol Legends.
"I feel like I'm a little young for that," laughed Witten who turned pro following his junior season and was taken in the third round by Dallas in the 2003 NFL Draft. "It's an honor and I'm going to enjoy it."
Jason also says for the Tennessee fans to get off Philip Fulmer’s back.
"I think it’s a little bit of nonsense," Witten said, visiting Knoxville with the Dallas Cowboys enjoying a bye week. "I think he has done a great job here for a long time.
"He has had some tough losses, but he’s a man of character and he’s going to bounce back on his feet."
