Woo hoo! Here's the news according to ESPN:
The Dallas Cowboys have offered quarterback Tony Romo a six-year, $69 million contract extension, $31 million which is guaranteed, according to sources.
The deal is expected to be announced at an 11 a.m. EST press conference on Tuesday and was primarily negotiated on Romo's behalf by agents Ken Kramer and Tom Condon.
Right on. I knew Jerry would get this done. All you capologists and contract experts can let us know how that stands against some other QB contracts.
I'm just thrilled if it turns out to be a done deal. Romo locked up is a good thing.
