Here is an interview with Jerry Jones by Dale Hansen. BTW, I'm thankful I don't live in the Dallas TV market and have to listen to Hansen on a regular basis. He does ask some good questions that need to be asked, especially about the GM stuff - I've hammered Jones continually about being a GM. But overall, Hansen just sounds whiny, and he always says he's representing the average fan, when in reality he's representing himself.
A Waco paper has an article on Jerry, here.
Paul Chryst is the University of Wisconsin offensive coordinator who the Cowboys interviewed for an undefined position, but thought to be QB coach. A local Wisconsin news site says this about Chryst.
[snip]
In Chryst's first year in control of the Wisconsin offense, quarterback John Stocco set school records for passing yards and completions and tied the mark for touchdowns, while running back Brian Calhoun set school records for rushing touchdowns and attempts and became just the second player in Division I history to amass at least 1,500 rushing yards and 500 passing yards.
This past season, with a new cast of skill-position players, the Badgers amassed 141 points in consecutive victories over Indiana, Minnesota, the most ever in a three-game span against Big Ten Conference opponents.
This article is a couple of days old but I'm just getting around to posting it. It's about each NFC East team and possible offseason plans.
The kicking game is also an issue. The Cowboys could re-sign Gramatica, who converted 7-of-9 field goals last season, including 3-of-5 from beyond 40 yards. Or, if the team is willing to lay down some cash, the Seahawks' Josh Brown is available. After spotting Vanderjagt a $2.5 million signing bonus last off-season, Dallas may be hesitant to go down that road again.
Adding depth in the secondary isn't a top priority but should be addressed, if not in free agency then via the draft. Roy Williams struggles in coverage, and Pat Watkins had an uneven rookie season. Tony Parrish was signed in December but is an unrestricted free agent.
