SB Nation adds new football blogs

OK, some of these blogs were added a while ago but I was extremely negligent by not posting about it. So I'm making up for that by giving them a shout-out now. SB Nation is getting close to having blogs for all NFL teams so next year we can cross-post each week of the season with another blog.

In the top-left is our newest blog, Buc'Em, dedicated to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the top-right is Niners Nation, all about the San Francisco 49ers. Bottom-left is the scary logo for Silver and Black Pride, home to the scariest fans in the NFL, the Oakland Raider fans. Finally, even the terminally bad Houston Texans have their own terminally good blog here at SB Nation, Battle Red Blog.

Again, this is a good time to plug the SB Nation network of sports blogs that can be found in the blogroll on the right-hand side of this blog. Check `em out.

As I'm sure most of you have heard, the San Diego Chargers hired Norv Turner as their new head coach. They also hired Ted Cottrell to be the defensive coordinator. Smart move on Cottrell, he's a good coach. Now I guess we'll see if this affects our search for a defensive coordinator and whether secondary coach Brian Stewart will really be coming to the Cowboys.

In related defensive coordinator news, Ron Rivera may be looking for work. It's been a bad couple of weeks for Rivera; he lost the Super Bowl, lost out on some head coaching jobs and now may have lost his job with the Bears.
