Dielman off the market; plus other FA headlines

Headlines

Rotoworld says Kris Dielman is off the market. Drat!

Chargers re-signed G Kris Dielman to a six-year contract.

An unexpected development; most believed San Diego wouldn't be able to keep its mauling guard without loads of cap space, so it's likely Dielman took substantially less money than he could've had on the open market.

Update [2007-3-3 14:16:49 by Grizz]: He is off the market, BTB regular Tom confirmed it with this link in the comments.

Adalius Thomas is off the market, but I posted that news last night.

Tampa Bay is trying to corner the QB market. It's believed they are using the same blueprint that Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd used to corner the orange juice futures market.

Antwan Peek, rumored to hold interest for the Cowboys, wants to sign with Cleveland.

The Browns also hosted Texans free-agent outside linebacker Antwan Peek, who had not agreed to terms as of Friday night. Peek was coached by Browns defensive coordinator Todd Grantham in Houston.

"I love coach Grantham and he loves me," Peek said. "Hopefully we can get something worked out soon."

The Bengals want to retain S Kevin Kaesviharn, but he's going to visit the Cardinals and the NFL Network also reported he will visit the Saints. The Saints are also hosting Seattle safety Ken Hamlin, a name on the Cowboys rumor mill, while the Cowboys are also supposedly interested in Jordan Babineaux from Seattle. Musical safeties.
