How about some news on free agents not named Leonard Davis? Like Kenyon Coleman and his courtship with the Jets.
A good place to start would be signing free agent defensive end Kenyon Coleman, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets are expected to make Coleman an offer, and if they sign him they'll add a lineman who played in the 3-4 in Dallas, has talent as a run stopper, and last year recorded four sacks.
Or Marc Colombo and the Broncos:
New York Jets offensive tackle Wade Smith will visit the Broncos on Tuesday. The Broncos also are interested in Dallas offensive tackle Marc Colombo.
Also today, the Cowboys are expected to re-sign kicker Martin Gramatica, according to his agent, Jack Reale. Gramatica took over for Mike Vanderjagt in November and made 6-of-8 field goal attempts to close the season.
QB Brad Johnson is supposed to visit Dallas today.
