Report: Free agent safety visits Cowboys

From KFFL:

Cowboys | Holt visits team
Wed, 7 Mar 2007 17:09:40 -0800

Mike Jurecki, of XTRA Sports 910 in Phoenix, reports free-agent FS Terrence Holt (Lions) visited the Dallas Cowboys Wednesday, March 7.

Terrence Holt was the starter at free safety most of the last two seasons in Detroit.

Here's a bio.

Holt retained his starting free safety spot in 2006. His first season (2005) as a full-time starter was cut short due to an elbow injury which forced him onto the Reserve/Injured list. A fifth-round pick in 2003 (137th overall). He is the younger brother of current St. Louis Rams wide receiver Torry Holt but made his own reputation with his hard-hitting style and ability to come up with the big play.

From the DMN blog:

For now, the team and [Marc Colombo] are still talking.

Colombo's agent, Ken Kremer, declined to comment on the talks with the Cowboys when we called him about ten minutes ago.

If you're worried about someone else taking Colombo away, well he has no visits scheduled with any team right now.
