Dallas Cowboys practice report teaser

I got a bunch of stuff to cover today so it's going to take me a long time to get the full report written. So I decided to give you some teasers to hold you over.

  1. The Cowboys utilized more than the base defense today, including the nickel. Lined up at linebacker in the nickel were Kevin Burnett and Roy Williams. That's right, Roy was lined up over the TE side with Ken Hamlin behind him at safety. Pat Watkins played the other safety position, and the corners were Aaron Glenn and Anthony Henry with Terence Newman in the slot.
  1. Greg Ellis didn't dress again today, along with all the usual injured players.
  1. Anthony Spencer is lining up at the OLB position with the first team.
  1. The Cowboys used a four man line in different defenses and one of the lineups was Spencer, Ratliff, Canty and Ware.

I've got a lot more in the full report which I will begin working on now and should have up within an hour.
