Former head coach Dave Campo, who was fired after three straight 5-11 seasons in 2002, visited with Wade Phillips and his staff here Monday afternoon and is expected to be named secondary coach at a 2 p.m. press conference.

According to a source, the Cowboys have plucked Dave Campo to their new secondary coach.
The Cowboys were resolute in getting Campo on board, as the Jaguars initially turned down a Dallas request to speak with their assistant head coach. But a second shot at it got the Cowboys the permission they needed, and Campo will return to Valley Ranch.There will be a press conference at 2 p.m. to welcome him.
