DC.com takes a look at the cornerback position. Behind Terence Newman and Anthony Henry, it’s pretty grim. The draft will have to be our savior. Wade Phillips agrees that cornerback, running back and wide receiver are our deficiencies.
Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips concurs with the masses, but not because he thinks his team lacks starting talent at any of those spots.
"The good thing is we don't need a starter at any of those positions you talked about," Phillips said Tuesday on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket. "But we do need depth and we do need other players that could come in. But I do think those are the areas that everybody would agree on."
