The Cowboys spent the off-day (Tuesday) working out a group of nine players, and ended up signing one to the practice squad. The Cowboys worked out:
FB Alex Daniels, Cincinnati - DB Quintin Demps, UTEP - OT Xaiver Fulton, Illinois - C/G Eric Ghiacuic, Central Michigan - DB De’Von Hall, Utah State - DB Geoffrey Pope, Howard - RB Quinn Porter, Stillman - RB Alfonso Smith, Kentucky - DB Ross Weaver, Michigan State
They ended up signing fullback Alex Daniels to the practice squad.
Daniels originally signed with the Oakland Raiders on April 30 as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati. He made the switch from defensive end to fullback during training camp with the Raiders prior to his release on Sept. 13.
In other good news, Dallas expects all of the active roster to be ready for practice on Wednesday, including Kyle Kosier.
