If we can believe Jay Ratliff, then Jay Ratliff will play this Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys nose tackle hasn't practiced this week, and probably won't again today, but that's not going to stop him from playing. According to his own prognosis:
"It really doesn’t matter how I’m feeling . . . because I’m going on Sunday," Ratliff said when asked about his right knee injury. "So it really makes no difference. It’s going to have to be something really serious to keep me out."
In other injury news, cornerback Terence Newman has been sitting out practices with rib and ankle injuries. You've got to hand it to Newman, he's been playing hurt a lot of the year but just keeps gutting it out each game. Jason Hatcher returned to full-participation for Thursday's practice and looks to be a go for Sunday.
