For the first time since realignment in 2002, seven of the eight divisions have two teams either in or within one game of first place through the first 14 weeks of the season.
So far, only one spot has been clinched: the Patriots have locked up their playoff spot. That leaves 11 spots still available and 23 teams remain in contention for a playoff berth.
With three weeks left to go, all six playoff spots are still up for grabs in the NFC and 11 teams in the NFC remain in the hunt for a playoff berth. You may find this hard to believe, but the 11th team are the 4-9 Cardinals who shockingly are still playing for a postseason appearance in the utter disgrace that calls itself the NFC West.
The race for the finish is heating up in our pick 'em panel as well. Paul is challenging rabblerousr hard for the lead. KD Drummond joined our panel last week and together with Brandon is trying to overtake Dave who's apparently hit a slump in recent weeks. At the bottom of the standings, a battle royale is taking shape between Aaron and the pick 'em challenged OCC. Check out our picks for this week after the break and let us know who you think will take the pick 'em crown, whether Dave will drop out of the top three and who will finish last.
