The Dallas Cowboys returned to practice on Wednesday in preparation for the Sunday night game with the Philadelphia Eagles. A handful of Cowboys didn't participate in practice.
Inside linebackers Bradie James and Keith Brooking sat out today, but that's starting to look like a regular occurrence. James has been missing days of practice for a while, and Brooking missed last week's practices with a foot injury but was able to play against the Colts. Both should be fine to play on Sunday. Also, newly-minted NFC Defensive Player of the Week Sean Lee was limited in practice because of a shoulder injury, but he managed to play through it for parts of the Colts game.
Marion Barber didn't practice and is likely out again this week. Obviously, Tony Romo is not ready yet. It will be interesting to see what the Cowboys do when that day comes.
Gerald Sensabaugh missed practice with a thigh injury. And no one is sure about what will happen with Orlando Scandrick. He suffered a concussion that knocked him out of the Colts game and will have to pass tests before he can get back on the field under the NFL's tougher concussion treatment policy. Scandrick says he'll be fine, but we don't know yet. With Philly's potent passing attack, we're surely going to need Scandrick.
