2010 NFL Draft: Day Three Open Thread II

12:55: Jerry interview on NFLN:

On AOA - We liked his size, speed, instincts. He's a corner/safety. He will be limited early because he's recovering from a surgery, but will be ready for training camp.

On Dez - Liked his hands, his ability to catch ball, that's kind of important. Also liked his strength and his run after the catch. He can help immediately, he was one of three players we would pay a little extra for if he was in range. Once he dropped down we thought we could get him. We debated OL and safety, but we're glad to have him, no issue on his health.

On Flozell, Free, OL - It's an endoresment of Free, we know there's risk but we liked what he did in 2009. His best position is LT, because of his feet. The back up there, we could be looking at a vet after the draft.

On possible Crayton trade, Austin contract - Miles Ausitn is getting a long-term contract, it's just when and how much. Dez gives us options, but it doesn't affect Roy or Miles. We like the problem of all the receivers, all five could be ion the roster in 2010. (Austin, Williams, Bryant, Crayton, Hurd).

On possible trading of MB3 - Never been the case, we never discussed trading MB3 with another team.

New open thread for continued draft discussion.

Round 6, (#179)

Round 6, Pick 27 (196)

Round 7, Pick 27 (234)
