In the sixth round (pick #179) of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select OT Sam Young from Notre Dame. The Cowboys waited until late in the draft, but they finally addressed their offensive line.
He is a massive blocker with long arms that can simply engulf opponents once he gets his hands on them. He lacks top initial quickness and can be beaten off the edge by explosive edge rushers. While he has started at both left tackle and on the right side he is best suited to be a right tackle in the NFL.

Weaknesses:
Inconsistent --- Not a great athlete --- Isn't very quick or agile --- Has heavy feet --- Really struggles with speed --- Doesn't always play with proper leverage --- Will get pushed back --- Limited range --- Lacks a killer instinct --- Questionable awareness --- Can only play one position
