Kyle Kosier sprains right knee; likely out 4-6 weeks

332

The lack of true depth on the offensive line is now going to be severely tested after Kyle Kosier reportedly sprained his right knee and could miss four to six weeks with the injury. Montrae Holland will replace Kosier in the lineup. For at least the rest of the preseason, the Cowboys will be playing without their starting offensive line. The injury also affects the backup center position as Kosier was the planned backup to Andre Gurode this season. Phil Costa will now serve as the backup center after taking the 3rd string position from Travis Bright. Kosier is scheduled to have an MRI this afternoon, although the early report from Nate Newton is that he suffered a sprained MCL.
