Welcome to Week Six, NFL bettors.
Week Five was a bounce back week for the projections, as I was able to go 10-3 on the Money Line, the best results from the season. I was able to go 7-6 Against The Spread (ATS), but I misread the trends dealing with the Over/Unders yet again. In Weeks 3 & 4, half of the games went Under, after two weeks of most totals going over. So of course, I went with that trend and got reamed, as nine of the 13 contests went Over.

The moral of the story, I can tell who's gonna win, do an average job of predicting by how much, and have no idea how many points will be scored.
There are quite a few tasty matchups to view this weekend, most notably the 4:15 ET Sunday tilt between our 2-2 Dallas Cowboys and the 4-1 New England Patriots. Also in the late game slot is the suddenly injury-plagued Houston Texans traveling to Maryland to face off against the 3-1 Ravens, who are also coming off a bye like Dallas. The Texans will be without Andre Johnson for at least a couple weeks and Mario Williams for the season. New Orleans (4-1) faces off against NFC South Rival Tampa Bay (3-2) as the Bucs return home to lick their wounds after a 48-3 drubbing at the hands on San Fran.
The early games are highlighted by the 4-1 49ers traveling to the Motor City to take on the undefeated 5-0 Lions. Also on the 1 o'clock slate is a battle between the two best teams in the Empire State, as Buffalo (4-1) travels south to take on the New York Giants (3-2).
That's plenty of day time action for NFL fans to follow, which is a good thing because the two night matchups are a little low on the excitement scale. Minny travels to Chicago for an NFC North battle Sunday evening, and winless Miami tries out Matt Moore while facing the under-performing Jets on Monday night.
