Our continuing series looking at the Top 10 Biggest Draft Busts Of The Jerry Jones Era rolls on with #10. The guidelines - Must have been drafted during Jerry Jones' era (1989 - present), needs to be a player chosen in the 1st or 2nd round. Anybody below that is excused for sucking. It's not a list of the worst players, but a list of the worst value to the team, based on lack of contributions and when they were drafted. Also, certain intangibles can be thrown into the mix.
7. Dwayne Goodrich (2000, 2nd round, #49, CB, Tennessee)
Dwayne Goodrich had a terrible three years in Dallas, ending in a conviction for criminally negligent homicide. Goodrich had only one start in his career for Dallas, and saw limited action as a special teams player. He was hurt for part of his initial season, missed all of 2001 with an Achilles injury, and managed his one start in 2002. In early 2003, he killed two people in a car accident and was sentenced to prison.
rabblerousr: The poster child for everything that was wrong with the Campo Cowboys, Goodrich played rarely (and when he did, was abysmal). Then he killed two people.
