Parcells' Big Board?

Tonight, ESPN ran a 90-minute draft special with Mike Tirico and Bill Parcells. During the show, they often referenced a big board that broke down each position by round (through 4 rounds, although he did have a few 5th-rounders visible here and there). Presumably this was created by The Tuna, as it differs significantly from the other rankings that we've seen recently.

For instance, here were the OT rankings on that board, by rank, by round:

  1. Solder, Smith, Castonzo
  2. Sherrod, Reid
  3. Cannon, Carimi, Franklin
  4. Ijalana, Hairston, Love

Wow. Carimi a 3rd-rounder? Maybe there's something to that school of thought that he can't evaluate OL very well.

The complete rankings (as best as I could make them out - many times they would only zoom part of the board, or his arm/body would be in the way) for all positions after the jump:

Defensive End:

  1. Watt, Bowers, Heyward, Jordan, Quinn, Clayborn
  2. Bailey, Acho
  3. Ballard, Sheard, McPhee
  4. Romeus, Reed

No real surprises here.

Defensive Tackle/Nose Tackle:

  1. Dareus, Fairley, Taylor, Wilkerson
  2. Liuget, Paea, Austin
  3. Nevis, Ellis, Powe, Jenkins
  4. McClain

Again, nothing surprising here, at least up top.

OLB:

  1. Miller, Smith, Kerrigan
  2. Ayers, Moch, Houston
  3. ...
  4. ...

Parcells evidently doesn't think much of the OLBs once the top tiers are gone.

ILB:

  1. Irving
  2. Wilson, Carter
  3. Matthews, Foster, Homan
  4. Jones, Sturdivant, Mouton (?), McCarthy

Irving is rated as the only 1st-rounder here (much higher than I've seen him listed elsewhere), and his board includes some players I can't even find. Not to mention that Sturdivant is listed as an OLB elsewhere.

Safety:

  1. ...
  2. Moore, McDaniel
  3. (couldn't make out)
  4. (couldn't make out)

This was the only section of the board that I never got a good look at. Rounds 1 and 2 were visible several times, but they showed 3 and 4 up close.

Cornerback:

  1. Amukamara, Peterson
  2. Smith, Williams, Dowling, Harris
  3. Brown, Wright, Culliver
  4. Burton, Patrick, Brown, Gilchrist

Shocked that he has Prince as the top CB. He's also got several safeties (Culliver, Gilchrist) listed as a corner here. That's not typically a switch you see (FS to CB).

Guard:

  1. ...
  2. Watkins, Wisniewksi
  3. Carpenter, Rackley
  4. Boling, Moffitt

Center:

  1. Pouncey
  2. ...
  3. Hudson
  4. ...

No love for the pivot-men.

Wide Receiver:

  1. Green, Jones
  2. Smith, Cobb, Young
  3. Hankerson, Baldwin, Pettis, Jernigan
  4. Doss, Johnson, Little, Nilas

Quarterback:

  1. Newton, Gabbert
  2. Mallett, Ponder, Locker
  3. Dalton, Kaepernick
  4. Stanzi

Evidently Bill doesn't love Dalton like others do.

Running Back:

  1. Ingram
  2. Williams, Thomas, Leshoure
  3. Murray, Hunter
  4. Helu, Jones Todman

Tight End/Fullback:

  1. Rudolph
  2. ...
  3. Stocker, Kendricks, Marecic
  4. Williams, Saunders, Cameron, Smith, Hynoski (5th round)

There you have it, as best as I could make it out.
