Cowboys WR Coach Taken To Local Hospital After Collision At Practice

WR Teddy Williams collided with WR coach Jimmy Robinson during practice today, and Robinson was taken to a local hospital for a series of tests.

The collision happened during a punt return. Jimmy Robinson was carted off the field after the collision. He was seen moving his arm but was put in a neck brace as a precaution. Teddy Williams was taken to the trainers room after the collision.

Tim MacMahon tweets that Robinson was knocked unconscious by the collision. ESPNDallas has more details here as does Nick Eatman from dallascowboys.com.

Coach Robinson was released yesterday after tests were negative and Jerry Jones said "He's OK, structurally, neck. All the great things, prayers answered.” Josh Ellis from the mothership writes that Robinson was released by the end of the afternoon session but that there is no information yet on when he will return to the sidelines.
