Now that we have the 53 man roster set - well, not totally set - the Dallas Cowboys will start signing their practice squad. Jason Garrett has indicated he'll churn the bottom of the roster, the guess is a lot of that will come from signing vets who were cast off by their current team. Already we've seen Montrae Holland cut and Derrick Dockery singed to the 53-man roster in his place. And we have a claim in on FB Tony Fiammetta, so another player will have to go.
You never know when a practice squad player will get his chance at the varsity level. Over the next few days we'll see the practice squad formed, but we should also see a little bit of activity with veteran signings.
According to Mac's Football Blog, the Cowboys have brought one player back into the fold. They claim we have inked Teddy Williams to the practice squad, although I haven't found a confirming source (William's agent confirms on Twitter). Akwasi Owusu-Ansah has also been moved to the practice squad.
We'll update the list here when they come in.
