Todd Archer and Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas.com are both reporting via twitter that the Dallas Cowboys have signed former Chargers, Falcons and Rams wide receiver Laurent Robinson. Aaron Wilson of Foxsports appears to have broken the news, and is claiming somebody from the league with knowledge of the situation as his source.
Robinson was originally a third round pick for the Falcons in 2007, and has caught 89 passes for 1,000 yards and four touchdowns in his four seasons in the league.
The Chargers list him as 6-foot-2, 197pounds, and Robinson will join receivers Kevin Ogletree, Jesse Holley and sixth-round rookie Dwayne Harris in an already crowded receiver corps.
