So there's been a big buzz today about the new uniforms for the NFL that are being produced by Nike. Everybody was wondering if the NFL was going the way of the Oregon Ducks with wild new combinations of colors and designs. Would our classic Cowboys uniforms be demolished in this new wave? Well, it doesn't appear to be the case. Thanks to our friends over at the SB Nation Redskins blog, Hogs Haven, who are attending the unveiling, the Cowboys new uniforms look almost exactly like the old uniforms. On their Twitter account they posted a pic that is embedded below.
As you can see, not much has changed. Admittedly, this makes me happy, I'm pretty much on the traditionalist side of the debate when it comes to uniforms, especially a classic like the Dallas Cowboys. I don't think I would mind a little alteration, but in general, leave well enough alone. Of course, that's just me. What do you guys think?
